mah-nees house

as we {try to} do several times a year, this past weekend was "girls weekend" with my college roommates/best friends.

recently we have been to the beach, auburn, birmingham, and now chattanooga.  bennett doesnt always come with us, but seeing that its been OVER A YEAR since they have seen him, bennett's presence was a must.

as ive stated so many times, these girls bring me so much happiness and self-____....i dont know what the word is im trying to think of right now....but basically

they remind me of who i am and who im not.
they keep me in line,
sing my praises,
give me a hug, and
laugh with or at me {whatever the situation suggests}.

we act like family around each other because thats what we are

i love these crazy fools
these crazy fools who refrained from doing anything crazy this entire weekend.
the ony thing on the agenda was to R E L A X.
and relax we did
i didnt hear a single complaint! :)

the FIRST place bennett ran when we got in town late thursday nightDSC_3102 copy
lula {the dog} didnt seem to mind.  actually it was love at first sight and the two barely left each others side all weekend

all bundled up for a walk around the riverview area of chattanoogaDSC_3106 copy

playing possum {he does this a lot recently}DSC_3108 copy

waking up from one of his 3.5 hour naps he took each day {glory be!}DSC_3120 copy

goofing around with "mah-nee" {mandy}DSC_3121 copy

maxin and relaxin on mah-nee's bed watching - oh i dont know - DORA or thomas choo-choo. the usualDSC_3126 copy

{picture removed per kat's request bc she underestimates her own natural beauty!!!}
sitting with BAH-kee {kat}.  i have NO idea how he moved from "kat" to "bah-kee" but he did, and it stuck.

per usual those are all the pictures i took.  i guess we are so busy doing other things when we get together that the camera doesnt really come out much

i did get all papparazzi on them during our walk to snap some shots of the magnificent houses in riverview:

this one had an outdoor living area my husband and inlaws would have gone batty over - overlooking the golf course and water.  in mobile, a screen would have been required but, in chattanooga, no screen needed!

this was the best pic i could get without rummaging through their yard and knocking on their door.
yes there are limits to my paparazzi-ing

this one looked like something out of a movie with its incredible view

chattanooga has a. lot. of. hills mountains.
and
i. am. out. of. shape.

my shins are burning today.
as is my derriere.
{in case you were wondering}
{mandy stop laughing...i told you i am weak.  WEAK}
