DAY FOUR

I am thankful for:

HEALTH

Yea our house isn't exactly the picture of health right now, so this cute pic will have to do!

I realized soon after Bennett turned six months old and started interacting with other babies more often that Health is a precious gift that tends to be overlooked way too often. {Or maybe it was just that sheltered me tended to overlook it.} After two years, yes TWO YEARS (THREE winters!), of catching nothing more than a slight sniffle that never progressed to anything worth mentioning, I now have been sick a total of...well I have lost count...times this winter. Colds, sinus infections, stomach bugs, and currently a sore throat with body aches. I'm not asking for pity, I'm just asking for everyone out there to be thankful for your HEALTH this holiday season. Reading blogs has brought so much joy to my life, but it has also opened up a world of knowledge of horrible, scary diseases and conditions out there that don't seem too 'foreign' anymore. I realize that health is a precious, uncertain, sometimes elusive blessing and that these little sniffles, bugs, and even kidney concerns are such tiny pebbles on a road that, for many, is all too often frequented by impassable speed bumps mountains. I am thankful for my healthy friends, my healthy family, my healthy husband, and my healthy {big} baby boy. And I keep all those friends, family, and strangers fellow bloggers out there who may not be experiencing current health in my constant prayers!

Here's to our health!
