I am thankful for:
NATUREI am thankful that I live in such a uniquely diverse part of the country, with so many different ways to celebrate nature right around the corner; my faves include (but are not limited too) sunning and/or swimming at the beach, sitting around the campfire at the 'hunting camp' which should be renamed the 'place we go to eat, drink, and be merry in [what is left of] the most beautiful woods two hours away from my house', going on walks around the oak tree lined streets that surround my neighborhood, sitting on the porch overlooking the lake at the Roe's cabin at Steelwood, running around Kiesel Park at Auburn (oh how I miss those days!!), sitting in our front or back yard with neighbors and friends, driving around town with my windows down during Azalea-blooming season, and skiing (yea so that may not be right around the corner but it is oh so fun to do!).
Go out today and enjoy yourself some nature!
