I am thankful for:
and I tend to have a lot. Anything crafty or do-it-yourself and you can sign me up. I am always trying something new. Sometimes my "hobbies" drive me crazy: I too-often categorize them as things that cause me to "make things more difficult than they need to be" or generally just make me a pack rat bc all my hobbies require SO MUCH STUFF. However, I am thankful for these hobbies, bc they keep me sane and do give me great joy. Sure, the blanket I knitted for Bennett took me several months and about $30 in supplies, and maybe it is too small and too "delicate" {in my opinion!} for general use, but it sure does make me happy to see it, and I have some wonderful memories knitted in each row. I am always running on all cylinders, with several different irons in the fire at any given time, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I am thankful for all things that inspire; I am thankful for others and their unique hobbies and special gifts/talents; and I am thankful that we have the means to realize these dreams and encourage our hobbies.
{oh gah did I really just post that embarrassing picture of my "desk," aka my dining room table? yes, yes I did. Trying to be honest here guys.}
I wish i was more creative to have a desk look like that! fun!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know that I'm not the only one with my hobbies spread out all over the dinning room table! Don't be ashamed, we're real people :)
