Wow! I am so very excited and it almost makes me want to be pregnant again! (dont worry Stephen, not REALLY)
Another one of my very best friends, Maribeth, is pregnant and due mid February! Maribeth was one of my bridesmaids and her husband Daniel and I have known each other since we were teeny tiny toddlers. They are both such dear friends to Stephen and I and they are going to be excellent parents! This is just one of the most wonderful things - seeing the people I love experience such a fantastic miracle. I just love babies and pregnancy and EVERYTHING and have already warned my newly pregnant friends that I may be stalking them with phone calls and visits for the next 8 months.
Seriously I think something is in the water, though. My cousin's wife, Summer, is also pregnant and due February 2nd with her second child. She was such a wonderful source for advice during my pregnancy and early motherhood, and was always there to say: That's normal, Blake did that too, Dont Worry, It will be fine, etc! I love reading her blog and keeping up with my extended family, and cant wait to see them all in August for a long weekend at the beach!
CONGRATS all you mommies-to-be out there! Motherhood is the most amazing blessing!
