Oh what a day

I don't know what happened to Bennett, but he seems to be SO very happy the past few days. Knock on wood. First, I have to throw the boy some props - I fed him at 8:45pm last night, and he didnt wake up until 3:30am!!! I just knew I was going to be up more than usual, since I fed him earlier than usual. Not the case! He woke up at 6:20am and my alarm went off at 6:30am for his morning feeding. Perfect!

After he ate, he fell asleep again, and I ate breakfast and got ready for my 6 week check up with Dr Rogers. I woke him, changed and fed him, and we headed out for the appointment. Bennett slept for two and a half hours (yes that is how long we waited) and then started to whine as they were calling me back to the room. I fed him for ten minutes, saw the doctor, fed him for another ten minutes, then packed him back in his seat and headed for the car. We then met Stephen at Zoe's for lunch, all the while Bennett is awake and happy in his seat, just looking around, dozing off every once in awhile.

When we got home, Bennett and I had the LONGEST, HAPPIEST awake baby time ( I think I am going to started calling this happy awake baby time HABT since I tend to refer to it regularly!). He is now happily sitting in his Boppy bouncy seat, looking at Steele and hiccuping. Some pics from our wonderful day below:
