i have this family blog and then i have my other blog for interior-design related things/work.
it really annoys me that i have two blogs. i originally started this one just to update family/friends when i was pregnant and since then the blog world has exploded. now it has also become an outlet for lots of things - bennett, pictures, recipes, crafts, life, etc. i also love writing about interior design/projects around the house/inspiration but either feel like this blog isnt technically "for" that or noone reads the other one anyway so why put it there? i am planning on making an actual real-life website for my work anyway {i know, big girl style}
what would you think if i combined my two blogs? some {ok maybe most} of you may have no interest in reading about anything other than bennett, and i get that, but partly im just maybe a little selfish and like writing about some other things that i enjoy...and topics that i enjoy reading on other peoples blogs. i want this blog to be entertaining and fun to read so i dont want to do something that might bore you.
i have been wanting to do this for some time and recently actually came up with a "name" for the blog that encompasses everything. i am still contemplating leaving the actual address as "www.theroefam.blogspot.com" since so many of you KNOW it, but also have the option to move over to another address if i decide.
i put a poll up on the right side of the blog so, if you are reading this in google reader or the like, please go let me know what your opinion is...or feel free to comment, too! either anonymously or with a name, ill take either. im curious as to what everyone thinks, but respectfully reserve the right to overrule :)

Anywho, I think you look great without makeup, B looks great with his new do, and he looks like Rose with those 2 fingers in his mouth! I vote for combining the 2 blogs...I love reading about the "other" stuff you have going on!

ReplyDeleteI'm a friend of Summer's and have been following your blog for awhile. I think it would be a fantastic idea to combine the two blogs. Bennett is super cute and I love looking at pictures, but I would also loving reading about other stuff too.

ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading both of your blogs, so I vote combine! Also, you can change your url through blogger, but people will still be able to access it from your old one. My blog started out as something different, then I wanted to get rid of the word blogspot and just be come a ".com". Even if I type my old address in, it will take me to my new one. So, you could have a new name and site address if you want! (Not sure if that made any sense!) :)
