things i forgot

1. my memory card for my camera, therefore no new pictures of the cutest little baby girl and her precious mama and daddy :(
2. to tell you: bennett is now tall enough to open our doors. seriously. last week we were in his room as he was practicing his love of opening and closing doors. after he closed the door all the way, he stood up, put his hand on the (lever) handle, pulled it down, and opened the door. i guess he has been paying attention!!!
3. also: bennett knows what keys are for. the day after he decided to open doors, he also took my keys, crawled with them to the door (by holding them in his hands, intermittently throwing them toward the door so he didnt have to carry them the whole way), stood up, looked through the keys until he had one in his hands, then reached up to the front door handle (which is not a lever handle) and tried to stick the key in the door handle. of course i am his mama and i have every right to think this and therefore say this on my blog, without being judged or criticized: my son is a genius. :)
4. 24. did you watch it? stephen said it was worthy of a post, so here it is. i think, my friends, that 24 may be BACK. and i sure hope it makes up for the past couple years. being a 24 follower since the first season, we must say that the past two seasons have been quite disappointing. i hope i'm not speaking too soon, but this year had impressed me thus far. tony is ALIVE? then tony is BAD? then tony is GOOD?? so many twists im having a hard time unwinding myself. welcome back jack. welcome back.
5. ok since we are on the tv topic - one week till LOST!!! i can hardly wait. now THIS is my absolute favorite show. i think i need to cut back on my evening tv....
6. also to tell you: the walking strike has ended! he is back to walking everywhere. and he chooses to walk now too, as in he will choose to walk across the kitchen, down the hall, and into our bedroom instead of grabbing something or walking down the wall at any point. love my little walker!!
