12 Months of Bennett: Month TEN

In the tenth month of Motherhood, my Bennett gave to me

Ten too many throw ups

ugh but true! :) We had many many too many days worth of sickly tummies throughout our house this month. Be it stomach bug and/or teeth coming in, throw up we did. Mainly Bennett. During this month, he broke two top teeth. His whole "look" changed, and we realized how close he was to becoming a toddler.

We had a hard time keeping formula down, but he loved all his solid foods. We tried soy formula and whole milk, but his tummy wouldn't tolerate anything until the teeth really broke through. Then he went back to normal, right around the time I decided to start weaning him from formula anyway :).

We visited my sister in Auburn and my college roommates Kat and Mandy in Birmingham, even though Bennett was sick the entire time. It was quite an adventure: mixing sickness and long car rides. He grew even more personable this month, and gave great hugs. We had to move his mattress down after he learned to maneuver himself around his rather THICK bumpers and stand up in his crib. Also bc he managed to chew off half the finish on the inside of the top rail.

It's hard to believe even now that his tenth month was two months ago!!
