Over Airport Boulevard and through many traffic lights, to La and Pop's we go
Bennett went on vacation this weekend to La and Pop's while Daddy was on call and Mommy was in a friends wedding "out of town" (30 minutes away at Steelwood Country Club, a wonderful place that has been mentioned numerous times in this here blog).
He had a marvelous time going on walks; eating; learning fun animal sounds with La; running around in his newly-black-foam-lined-souped-up walker a-la-Pop; bonding with the Godfather Uncle Awesome*; playing with his own toys that made the journey with him, as well as his favorite toys that live at La and Pop's; and overall just being spoiled rotten.
Mommy didn't see B all weekend, and missed the poop out of him, but Daddy cheated and snuck a visit in on Saturday. Which Mommy thought was just NOT right.

*Uncle Awesome is the self-given name of Michael Roe, Stephen's younger brother and Bennett Michael's Godfather and half-namesake (the other half-namesake belongs to my Dad, Roger Michael)

ReplyDeleteThank you. We are so excited! It looks like Bennett had a great weekend. I have yet to leave Mason for an entire weekend and he is 15 months. It's harder when your family lives far away.
ReplyDeleteIt is so much fun to see pictures of the Roe boys with Bennett, since I haven't seen them in person in many, many years. And, of course, Bennett is absolutely adorable to look at any time!!
