8Months

Name: Bennett Michael Roe

Weight: somewhere in the 20lb range, according to home scale

Height: don't know, but he has definitely grown an inch or so since his last appointment, so probably around 28" or more.

Nicknames: B, B man, Queesh, Q daddy, B diddy, punkin man, Benetian, buddy, booger

Identifying Characteristics: raises his right eyebrow when confused, excited, interested, etc; tongue always out; when holding objects, he rotates his wrist to see the front, then back, then front, etc; everything in mouth; always making 'pooting' noises with his mouth (attractive I know - I wonder where he learned it from?); JUMPS - in his exeraucer, doorway jumper, in your lap, while you are holding him, even when sitting down he is bouncing; crinkles his nose and breaths in and out really fast; acrobat on the changing table; chew his thumb on the side of his mouth

Favorite Foods: um, everything. bottle, all veggies, all fruits, loves mixed meals/dinners (like chicken vegetable or turkey tetrazinni). Is not too terribly fond of just plain meats, but that doesn't stop him from eating all of it anyway. We have fed him pieces of banana, strawberry, cheese, bread, gerber puffs, peas, ham, and who knows what all his Daddy has fed him...I dont think I want confirmation that Bennett has been eating oreo's or nilla wafers or anything of the sort, but who knows.

Favortie Things: baths, Steele (all puppies), mealtime, bedtime (he actually does act like he looks forward to going to bed at night - he knows his routine), Daddy's nametag, going outside, talking (and squealing and shrieking...), paci (he's been putting them in his mouth on his own for a little over a month now, but I forgot to document it), still loves exersaucer and bouncer, but loves floortime too, standing up and pulling up

Laughs/Smiles/Giggles at: whistling, singing the "ABC's," peekaboo, being kissed a lot, the mirror, Daddy!!!, fisher price piano (he still LOVES the bird on it for some reason), is ticklish on his thighs, tummy, feet, and neck.

Normal Day: wake up sometime around 7:15-7:30, but stays in bed and talks and squeals and just rolls around until 8am. has 8oz Similac Advance at 8am, then a fruit babyfood. Playtime until nap at 9:30 or 10. Sleeps for 1.5-2hrs (usually). has 6oz formula and one jar babyfood at 12pm. PLays and we usually leave the house and run errands at this time. has 6oz formula at 3:30pm, then goes down for a nap. Sleeps until around 5 or 5:30 usually. Playtime, Daddy home (hopefully if work isnt really bad), goes outside with Daddy and does "man stuff" like throw the ball with Steele, work in the shop, mess with the grill, you know. (this is when I am running around the house doing all of those things I havent had the chance to do during the day, and cook dinner). Daddy feeds him dinner at 7pm of two baby food containers: usually a vegetable and either a meat or a mixed dinner. Then, he stays in his highchair and plays while we eat dinner, or if dinner isn't ready, Daddy takes him straight to the bath. After bathtime, usually around 7:30 or 7:45, he has 8oz formula and goes straight to sleep!
