Lets hope "they" are right. We came home Saturday night around 8:30pm from the beach. I told Stephen the air conditioner wouldnt "click" on, and by the time I was finished bathing Bennett, Stephen said we had a much bigger problem on our hands. It appears that lightning struck our house on Saturday, and it took our air conditioner, big flat screen TV, a second TV in the back bedroom, fax machine, baby monitor, cable box, wireless internet router (I am in my old office directly connected to the cable internet right now), thermostat, and hopefully that is all. We got our air conditioner fixed last night, so Bennett didnt have to spend another night in the pack n play (we have a separate smaller air conditioner for our master, thank goodness!!). We have filed it all on insurance, and today I plan on going out and restocking our house on the things that I can: baby monitor, cable box, wireless router, etc. The TV, sadly, will obviously have to wait.
It was interesting yesterday getting to know how it would feel to live in a one bedroom, well try ONE ROOM, apartment since B and I were camped out in our bedroom all day, when we weren't out running errands or going to church to get out of our 85 degree house!!!
Anyway, I may be taking a leave of absence on the blog and email until we get everything squared away.

Oh my gosh - That's terrible. That happened to us last summer the day we moved into our house. Luckily, the only thing in there at that point was the AC.
