For the last weekend of hunting season we traveled to Linden AL, to our cozy "Country Home" (aka double wide trailer - sorry Pop I have to call it what it is...). My best friends (and roommates) from Auburn, Katharine and Mandy, came for the night on Saturday to meet Mr Bennett and visit. We had a blast. It was rainy Friday night and some of the day on Saturday, but by Saturday night the weather had cleared up and it wasn't as chilly, which was good news for Bennett...I mean his camo onezie is warm, but not THAT warm. Bennett loved meeting his Aunt Mandy and Aunt Kat, but I felt like I hardly got to see them...and am having withdrawals!!! We need another reunion ASAP.
One notable note: Bennett LOVES his baths now. and by LOVES I mean he doesn't cry...he hasn't yet been able to express his "love" of anything at this point, but I like to think I know what he is feeling. Anyway, we bathed him in the kitchen sink, with his yellow sponge thing and it was the cutest thing...I just had to put a picture on the blog, even though I did not plan it out correctly and put a wash cloth to cover his nether regions...but Photo Shop did the trick:
Mr. Butterbean Chunk taking his bath
On Friday night, Doc was about to jump out of his camo to give Bennett another special present. He kept saying "If only Bennett was awake, I would give him his present" as in "Hint Hint Momma hint hint when are we going to wake him up??". So Bennett was awakened (Stephen and I just had a whole conversation trying to figure out if that is even a word?? You get the point) by his Doc, and his mommy and daddy were greeted with a special smile from their sleepy Bennett:Thank you Doc for another memorable present. This was is in a whole different league from your last gift.
Here are some other pics from the weekend:

Mommy why am I propped up against this tree?
Seriously Mommy what is with this?
I have had enough!
Get me out of this thing and back inside where it is nice and warm!!
Goodness I sure am cute though
