Ok I must amend the previous post - I have indeed held a baby since Ive been pregnant, and this baby was little baby Blake Spooner. I must have been thinking infant when I said baby in the previous post - as in helpless little ball of sleeping baby. But my sincere apologies to Mr Blake - he of course has not gone forgotten and is in fact in a league of his own. Speaking of holding Blake - Im wondering when I will be able to again??? I think Dallas is a little too far away from Mobile.

HA HA! Oh my gosh, you are too funny. I know what you meant ... holding a precious sleeping NEWBORN is quite different. Blake was the ripe old age of 3 months when he got to cuddle with you! There's just something about holding them when they're BRAND NEW like your neighbor's baby. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteBlake has been asking if he can go to Erin's wedding so he can see you guys again, but I reminded him that he would likely starve if he did that. :)
And YES ... Dallas and Mobile are way too far apart. We'll have to work something out next spring so we can get our hands on that sweet Bennett. I am missing the newborn days ...
