Had my appointment today, all went well. gained several more lbs :) and everything is measuring normal (on me...Im sure Bennett is still measuring bigger). We had an interesting time trying to find his heart beat, since every time Dr Helen would put the doppler thing on my belly Bennett would kick or punch and made crazy noises through the doppler. We found it for a sec, and it was strong, but then he would kick again and we would lose it. Dr Helen thought it was funny, as did I.
My next appointment is October 23rd at 2pm, and its for an Ultrasound!! Im pumped. I also have to do the glucose tolerance test, which involves drinking 5 ounces of a lovely neon red mixture in less than 3 minutes, an hour before my appointment, and then having my blood drawn. wow that sounds like fun in a bottle if you ask me.
I did ask Dr Helen if they induce, and she said they do not. They just wait for Bennett to decide he is good and ready, whether he is 7, 8 or 10 pounds! oh boy! So we really are expecting him anywhere between January 9-15.
When I got home, I had a nice little package from the Spooners: two precious smocked outfits! Made my day. Thanks Summer, Justin and Blake! :)

I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy is going! :) Already time for the glucose test! Some people actually like that orange drink, and I sure hope you're one of them! I was not so lucky ... *almost* threw up from it (sorry, TMI). But the good news is that it should be the last blood draw till Bennett arrives!!! He'll be here before you know it!!!
