thanks everybody for all the sweet comments from the previous post. we are really excited and welcoming the second trimester ;)
as they say, every pregnancy is different! i am definitely showing much sooner than with bennett, and pretty much everything else you could think of comparing between the two pregnancies is different. BUT i do not think that "means" anything...this baby could just as easily be a boy as it could be a girl. {i still say boy :)} and we actually find out very soon! i have a few "posts" i wrote over the course of this pregnancy so far and will post them soon. {ill put the links up when i do.}
for now i will leave you with some pics i couldnt show you earlier, and some from our marvelous Easter weekend.

on friday we attended jack's third birthday party with our playgroup
as usual bennett and mae were the last to finish their cupcakes.
probably bc they actually ate all of their cupcakes...
and just bc this is all i could come up with at this age to explain why the Easter bunny comes and why its such a marvelous celebration:
he was really good about connecting every time we talked about Easter/the Easter bunny with Jesus, and then Easter morning after saying "Easter bunny bennett roe!""Jesus rose again!" he promptly said "presents!!". :) honestly, i was pretty excited about his presents, too....and you can understand why:
the easter bunny brought bennett a train track and two more "thomas" characters: gordon and james. now they are the ones who accompany us at every outing.
