client appreciation post

so i love my clients. they really are great people. all of them. one particular client from a past job called me up on friday, told me she was having a garage sale, and wanted me to come rummage through her sons old shoes before she placed them out on saturday.

i gratefully did, and came home with eight pairs of shoes, ranging from size 6 to size 10. bennett has three pairs of dress english sandals to grow into, and two pairs of a different type of sandal...

and there were keds. a white pair for now, a red and a blue pair for later.

im a sucker for keds, as you know.

she also gave me these, which ive never seen before but thought they were cool. and have not doubt they will come in handy one day

as shoes continue to be one of the most annoyingly expensive necessities with children, i am so thankful and grateful for my client's generosity.
i am a happy mama.
and my baby will be a happy bennett since the chances are now much smaller that i will be forcing his intoxicatingly chubby {and fast growing} foot into another out-grown shoe anytime soon.

  2. Those shoes are such a great treat! My sister loves to dress her boys like you do, the oldest one is a little too old for that now, but the 2 year old is still fair game. I bought him some brown suede keds last week. They are super cute.

  4. Oh, I too love keds on a little boy. So cute and innocent. However, they do not fit my child's feet. Eli has insanely chubby feet, especially for such a little guy. I almost cried when I first tried them on him and came to this realization.

You say Bennett has chubby feet too, but keds fit him OK? Any tips? I'm desperate to get pair on Eli!
