that is mainly what our weekend consisted of : babies! boats! water!
bennett and i started the weekend off with a swim party on friday morning at the neighborhood pool of a friend. i hate that i didnt take more pictures, but it was near impossible to get pictures of all the babies sitting still, not to mention i was in the pool most of the time as well to beat the heat.
bennett and eleanor....marlee, i am serious when i say this was the best picture of the two of them. BABIES! what to do what to do...
you know ladies, it aint easy lookin this good. big bellies dont come cheap
the ever so precious meryl...thank you for letting me beat up and nearly destroy all your water toys. love bennett
after the swim party, bennett and i headed over to aunt erin's house for naptime. then there was lots of rough-housing on aunt erin's bed while we waited for daddy to come pick us up
on saturday we joined erin, troy, and jack at a small island nearby, but OF COURSE, i failed to document it with pics...these things used to be so much easier when bennett was contained
we came home saturday night on a whim {to make the getting up for church thing easier}.
this weekend we journeyed over to the roe's condo in florida. stephen and i had a heated half-game of monopoly friday night after putting bennett to bed {we remembered it being so much more fun than it actually was....maybe its just not as fun to beat each other as it once was to beat our siblings}
eating dinner friday night
on saturday we joined erin, troy, and jack at a small island nearby, but OF COURSE, i failed to document it with pics...these things used to be so much easier when bennett was contained
bennett trying to drive the boat from wherever he is...always
we came home saturday night on a whim {to make the getting up for church thing easier}.
today, bennett found his lifejacket and...well...you know the rest.
and now, after a couple weeks of over 100 degree weather, TWO broken-and-then-replaced air conditioners {yes two!}, and several multi-baths-required days...
today's 92 degree morning, with us all dressed up in our church clothes, actually seemed manageable. i dont know if i want to know what "fun" surprises july holds for us lower alabamians....
stay cool and happy sunday!
