Daniel Asa Dennis IV::part two

Well, I was counting down the minutes but Bennett and I finally were able to meet the newest little one...Asa Dennis.  He is the spitting image of his daddy, but with characteristics of his mama.  Perfect combination!  It was a quick visit, as there were tons of people in that tiny hospital room, but we can't wait to visit Maribeth, Daniel and Asa again, soon!  

Just like with Rose, Stephen was a little upset with me that I went without him to visit.  Buuuut I'm sorry I just couldn't help it!  I had to get my hands on these sweet little babies as soon as possible!  and it is that much sweeter that these little ones belong to two of my best friends!  Two friends who I know are going to make (and now ARE) the best mom's possible.  Another friend and I were talking recently about how lucky and blessed we are to have such sweet friends - friends who we know without a shadow of a doubt are going to the be the best moms; friends who, if they are even half as wonderful as moms as they are as friends, are going to have the luckiest little children!!

Back to Asa:  he is gorgeous, has a head full of dark hair, and has his daddy's eyes.  Maribeth was up and walking around like super mom.  Seriously, she even held my chunk of a son without thinking twice.  What champion mom-friends I have!!  I was glued to my bed for a couple days after Bennett was born - these mama's are quite the inspiration!!!
