bennett and i met erin and jack schwant at the downtown exploreum yesterday afternoon. both bennett and jack were in previously cranky moods, so we were wondering exactly how this outing was going to unfold.
both boys played their little hearts out. bennett had a blast!! its true, while bennett is around other babies about twice a week, he is never around babies AND me at the same time. i realized how shy he was for the first twenty or so minutes! he would play, but he didnt make a sound, and he didnt walk or crawl. he just sat where i put him and watched jack.
after those twenty or so minutes were up, however, the boy took off: exploring all there was to explore. puzzles, ball pits, foam shapes, slides, tables, chairs, animals, books, etc etc.
we definitely must make this a regular outing!! we had a blast!! thanks erin and jack for including us :)

erin and jack have a phil and ted's stroller too, and the boys took turns riding in the front and back. jack likes the back - as you can see he would rather climb down to the bottom basket. bennett doesnt know what to think

hysterical. i think the funniest thing to me is how they are the same size but B still has so much more baby in his sweet face than jack does. somebody who didn't know them would probably be so confused about their sizes/ages. they are such a funny little duo. we had a GREAT time with yall! let's do it again next week!
