Whirlwind weekend

Friday we traveled to Auburn for the Georgia/Auburn game: I drove from home, Stephen met me in Auburn as his flight home on Friday was delayed and then canceled in Atlanta, so his brother just picked him up and they met his other brother "half way" between Auburn and Atlanta (and that is another story in itself, Ill save that one for a rainy day, or for a story around the campfire). We ate dinner with Stephen's parents friday night. Friday night was a looooong night, as those Auburn nights tend to be when we rendezvous with all of Stephen's college friends.

Saturday was freezing (yay! - no sweating walking to the game!) and the game was fun, even though not with the outcome we would have preferred.

After the game, we braved the traffic and headed to the hunting camp, where we met my parents who were keeping Bennett for us. Fun times were had by all!

Note to self: traveling to two different locations in one weekend does not a happy Natalie make. I could have slept for days after this weekend, and would have if little squirt didn't decide to wake up like normal Monday morning.

Stephen's heaven Steele's tooMuch of the land had been clearcut (cut by the loggers-they own the land, we lease it). It was incredibly sad to see the gorgeous woods go from this: To this:

and now on to a much happier note:
