I am thankful for:
Cold weather and my warm house.
I absolutely love the change of seasons. If you ask me which is my favorite, I would say "when they change." I love summer, winter, and love love the tiniest fall and spring that we get down here in the South. I am thankful that I can choose to go outside in the brisk air, covered in a coat, scarf, sweater, whatever I throw on, or I can choose to come inside to the warm heat and burning fire that is my house. I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and a warm place to call home. So many people do not have this luxury. They may have a home, but no heat. A warm place to go, but no home.
I have been blessed enough to have both.
I am also very thankful that during this special cold time of year, I can take a shower, get dressed, actually put on makeup, gather all our belongings, load up my baby in the car: all without breaking a sweat. This small wonder is enough to fuel all my Thanksgivings.
What are you thankful for?
