They were on sale.

At MDO on Monday, when I picked B up, his new kicks were off and they said "We didn't think he was going to walk away or anything."

I smiled and said (probably a little too eagerly): "I know. I just saw them and had to buy them and have been waiting for this for way too long now. Plus, its getting cooler outside and he needed something. And he doesnt fit in all the infant shoes."

And I left happy I bought them but a smidge embarrassed that maybe I jumped the gun.

And he has worn them every day since.
