Beach Weekend

This past weekend Stephen was on call, so Bennett and I packed up and went to the beach for Friday night. We only planned on staying one night, but ended up staying until Sunday morning (I was back home in Mobile by 9am for Father's Day :) ). Our family friends the Gibsons were down for the weekend with their two boys Hayes (5) and Grayson (3). They were so much fun to hang out with, and I got a little dose of what lies ahead for Stephen and me. Bennett had a blast swimming in the new pool, riding on the boat, sitting in a highchair at TackyJacks for lunch on Saturday, playing with the boys, and eating messy messy meals (as you saw in earlier posts). We sure did miss Daddy though, and look forward to this upcoming weekend at the beach, all three of us!

Swimming in the new pool! And I cant believe it but I didnt get a picture of B in his float (seen in the bottom left corner of the picture). Bennett LOVED the water. I even dunked him all the way in, realllll quick, which he didnt LOVE, but still had a blast swimming around and wouldnt stop kicking his little feet. Not the best pic of me, but look at that stud in my arms....WOW
