Everything went well - actual appointment was quite quick, but had to wait in the waiting room for 1.5 hours before being seen. Oh gotta love OBGYN's and their hectic schedules - they never seem to be running on time.
Dr Helen measured my fundal height, which in the past has been right on or just a tad but under the average weekly measurement. Oh not this time - last visit, at 33 weeks, I was 33 cm. This visit, at 35 weeks, I am 37 cm! So that 'belly burst' Laura noticed was very real indeed. At least I have given Bennett a bit more room to roll around - it always did get to me how I was measuring right on the week that I was while Bennett was always measuring several weeks ahead! Poor squished little Bennett.
Dr Helen also proceeded to laugh at my belly - Bennett was doing his usual gymnastics and she was amazed that every inch of my belly was baby. She felt around and said "This baby is taking up every inch he can! I mean he is all over the place! Big baby!". Yes I feel this as well :)
She guessed that he probably weighed somewhere around 6.5lbs right now, but said there really is not smart way to guess this, unless we did an ultrasound and even then its not exact. She also guessed that he would easily be a 9lb baby. So if we induce on the 8th as planned, hopefully that would mean he would be somewhere around 8.5lbs??? Not too bad, but Im anxiously awaiting those head circumference measurements to be taken in two weeks at our next Ultrasound.
We went ahead and scheduled my next three appointments, which are my LAST three appointments before D-Day. Or should I say B-Day. ha
They are: 12-19 at 3:30pm, 12-27 at 3:00pm (ultrasound), and then 1-3 at 10:00am.
I leave you with this:
Don't you just feel this way sometimes?
Me too

So glad to hear everything is going so well! We LOVE big babies around here. And don't worry ... B's head measured 3 weeks ahead the whole time, and I had such an easy labor/delivery and recovery ... we will pray the same for you and big Bennett! :) Love to you three!
