Happy Thanksgiving!

So yeah I couldn't wait - it's Thanksgiving night and I just had to Christma-cize my blog. I just can't help it! I absolutely love the holidays. I usually start listening to Christmas music sometime soon after Halloween - I know some of you cringe at that, but it is true. Hopefully we will have our Christmas tree and lights/decorations up by Monday - that is the goal. I am a holiday fool.

Its actually pretty hard to customize the blog when the colors are kind of strange - this is the closet color to Christmas green that they offered. I guess it works!

Our Thanksgiving was wonderful - we spent the day at Steelwood, at the Roe's cabin (about 30 minutes from Mobile). Stephen and I had our rehearsal dinner at the Steelwood Country Club and absolutely love being over there any chance we get. This year the crowd was Stephen's family, Stephen and me (and Bennett of course), my parents and my Aunt Becky. Erin and Ben are still on their honeymoon (where they enjoyed a moonlit dinner on the beach tonight) and Rachel had Thanksgiving with her boyfriend Hollis' family. We missed them all!

Just being at Steelwood, though, made the day so special. You feel like you are in the mountains when you are there - with all the trees and the view of the lake. Amazing! The food and company were perfect and I hope we start a Steelwood Thanksgiving tradition!

Tomorrow Stephen and I will head to the hunting camp, spend the night, and then hit the road again to Auburn for the Iron Bowl. (WAR EAGLE) I am so excited about the game, but am a bit nervous that it will rain the entire time. I don't mind it being cold, but cold constant rain just does NOT do it for me - especially since I am not planning on getting sick this weekend. Rain rain go away! I wanna watch the game!
