We kept it "simple" this year. Two costume repeats and another one made with pajamas, store bought mask/shell/weapon and fleece. We somehow avoided all the big Halloween parties that seemed to plague us every other year, and came out ahead {and not worn out!}.
We pumpkin picked the week before Halloween, carved the pumpkin a few days later, attended Bennett's Halloween parade at school, took annual cousin picture on steps {
HERE is last years}, and stuck to about ten houses for candy catching.
{watching big brother - didn't want to be left out and was a ballerina fairy princess}
{two of my most favorite little guys}
{not scared - right there in the middle with all the big kids}
And just like that, Halloween was over.
I'll have to admit by the time October 31 rolled around I was ITCHING to get all the decorations down. The kids loved it and I loved it {for a bit} but I am much more excited about the pine and twinkly lights and red + green in our near future ;).
i need to frame the pic of the 4 of them. such a good one
